Top Books for 2019

One of my goals in 2019 is to read at least three books each month. I am normally a 1-2 type of girl, but I really need to step up my game if I want to reach my goals for the year. Speaking of that, did you know that the average CEO reads 4-5 books a month? I’m trying to get on their level, how about you?

Anyway, I get asked about book recommendations quite a bit so I wanted to compile a list of must reads for 2019! I guess I should warn you that I don’t read fiction books or recommend fiction books. If I am taking my time to read, I want to learn something, not be entertained. All of these book recommendations will be non-fiction and focused on personal growth. If that isn’t your thing, then this may not be the blog post for you.

Also I mainly listen to books using Audible. It’s very rare that I actually sit down and read a book. I am a busy working mom of two so I am pretty particular about how I spend my time. I love audiobooks because I can listen to them while I am cleaning or getting ready every morning.

This is a list of my most beloved personal growth books that I have read throughout the years. I hope that you take the time to read/listen and take their messages to heart. This life is a journey and if you aren’t changing and growing, you’ll always be exactly where you are now.

Recommended books for 2019

Alright, off my soap box and back to this list.

  1. The Code of the Extraordinary Mind - Hands down, this is one of my all time favorite books that I have read. Talk about really opening your mind and paradigm shifts. I love his realness, and the broad topics that this book covers. Definitely a must read!

  2. You are a Badass - I have read each of her books (there are a few) multiple times, and I love them! She is so inspiring in such a real and raw way. If you need some motivation or a kick in the booty to make your life better, check this one out.

  3. The Universe Has Your Back - This is pretty similar to You Are a Badass so I would recommend reading them back to back or closely together. Also another great read for motivation.

  4. The Miracle Morning - If you need some productivity and time management in your life, definitely check this book out! I have read this one and the specific version for Network Marketer’s and both are absolutely amazing!

  5. The Four Agreements - A super short and simple read with such a powerful impact. This is a very quick read with so many golden nuggets. If you’re on the path to bettering yourself and haven’t already read this, get it ordered ASAP.

  6. Daring Greatly - When I read this I felt like she was speaking directly to my soul. Not going to lie, I loved that the author is from Texas too! She covers confidence and growth unlike any other book that I have come across, plus if you listen to the audio her voice is so soothing!

  7. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind - This book literally changed my life. It was recommended to me from a friend that I have tremendous respect for. It covers everything regarding our financial mindset. I love how the author even helps you identify where your financial thoughts and money blocks stemmed from. Definitely a requirement if you’re working towards success at anything.

I can tell you this, even if you only read half of these, you will see positive changes in your perspective and ultimately in your life. Also, if you read half of these I want to give you a virtual high five because you are well on your way to becoming the best version of yourself! People around you may not understand that or even agree with it, but in the end it will all pay off! Keeping being amazing babe!
